Bakery Using Family Recipes Opens to Rave Reviews

Anytown, April 2, 2008—Delectable cinnamon rolls and palate-pleasing frosted sugar cookies are just a few of the baked treats at Jane Doe’s Bakery that have garnered rave reviews. Customers are praising the fabulous flavors, moist cakes and light-as-air frostings, many of which are derived from owner Jane Doe’s family recipes.

Doe explains that most of the recipes were passed down from her grandmother, whom she learned baking from as a child. While some of the recipes are family secrets, others are her grandmother’s blue ribbon-winning creations. Doe says she has always wanted to open a bakery, and she took the business one step further by offering party-, event- and wedding-planning.

Jane Doe’s Bakery is a one-stop-shop for an array of delicious baked goods, including muffins, sweet treats and a series of cakes based on designer handbags. Custom, themed birthday cakes are available, as well as cupcakes in such flavors as Junior Mint and Latte. In addition, Doe says she is developing a line of sugar-free goodies. The bakery, which boasts pink and black walls, a flat-screen TV and chandelier, also features a full-service espresso bar.

On-site party and event rooms are another appealing aspect of Jane Doe’s Bakery. Themed “The Secret Garden” and “The Enchanted Forest,” these facilities are decorated with hand-painted wall murals and are ideal for birthday parties, tea parties and baby and bridal showers.
